On a tour through the east of Scotland I decided very fast not to stay there much longer as necessary and very fast made my way back to the highlands. During this trip I only took one photograph which you find here…and which is not very much connected to Scotland in my opinion… Taken with [...]

Quirang
If someone would ask me which place I liked most in Scotland I would not hesitate to say Quirang on the Isle of Skye. This time I was lucky enough to find Quirang either enlightened by the sun, hidden behind fog or covered by snow….depending on the time of the day. A wonderful place and [...]

The way to Applecross is one of the most exciting roads I have ever seen….sun in the valley and snow on the mountains….wonderful views and a bit of adventure. When I was leaving this little village I noticed that there is also a small church but I think most of the tourists drive by this [...]

The Castle
Besides all clishes Eilean Donan Castle is a wonderful place….especially in the evening and with a little distance to be not disturbed by the numerous tourists. I have not been inside but this view was enough to get an impression why this place is one of the most famous spots in Scotland. 503CW on Rollei [...]
