Look-s.de started 4 years ago using “Photoblogger” (I do not know if this is still avaible) as a platform to present my photographic work on the internet. After several months I switched to Pixelpost which is maybe the most used software of photobloggers arround the word. After almost 600 published photographs and thousands of comments look-s.de uses now WordPress for presentation and discussion (I will keep the old blog alive as long as possible but comments will be off..).

It was just the feeling to make something new and provide a more friendly place for potential discussions about photography and what else may come to your mind when looking at my photographs. Furthermore I was a bit tired of the “Pixelpost-look”. This may change in the future again but up to then feel free to post whatever you find important to communicate but if you allow me a little wish: Be honest and extensive . Most Photobloggers have to “learn” this I think but if done so it should be fun….or what is more likely….silence will enter this place .

Finally I will slow down a little bit. Every day a photograph may be good for traffic and page rankings….but not for a selection of the best shots from my portfolio.
