When I started to take photographs at the age of ten with an Agfa Click-I and somebody would have told me at that time about the internet and photoblogs, even my invantile simplicity would not have been big enough to believe this. Nowadays I am not as naiv as 30 years before but every day when I am turning on my computer and it starts up without a bluescreen my facial expression is somehow like that of child which look-s at a christmas tree for the first time.
While having a look at my photographs please keep in mind that no display on this planet is able to show the beauty of a hand made darkroom print.

MY PICTURES:

Usually black & white which is for me the prefered possiblity to capture light, shadows, structures and emotions.
My motives are not predefined. I am attracted by all things which I recognize as a possible photograph. This includes people as well as architecture or landscapes. My philosophy is easy: The world is as it is and there is no reason to use any tools to change what I saw at the moment when I looked through the viewfinder..

MY EQUIPMENT:

I shot film and do all the processing by myself in the darkroom. The gear I use is mentioned in the information for every shot. If you have additional questions please ask via commenting or by mail :)
